Overview:
The Machine Operator is responsible for contributing to the coordinated efforts of the Meat Production facility. This individual must possess knowledge of assembling and disassembling machines and ensuring machines run smoothly throughout the day.

The Machine Operator is responsible for contributing to the coordinated efforts of the Meat Production facility. This individual must possess knowledge of assembling and disassembling machines and ensuring machines run smoothly throughout the day.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Run processing machines/equipment and ensure each is running efficiently throughout the production shift
- Assemble and disassemble machine(s) as necessary and understand when adjustments are needed
- Change labels and recipes in the machine as needed
- Execute job functions safely, leading by example to staff
- Ensure full compliance of all company policies and procedures that pertain to the ongoing operation of the Meat Production facility
- Ensure execution of cleaning and sanitation practices that are in strict accordance with both Government regulation and Verde Farms Meat Production policies and procedures
- Ensure proper Health & Safety practices are adhered to in an effort towards optimizing efficiency, work safety and food safety
- Any additional task set forth by the management, within scope and abilities
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Strong work ethic, communication skills in English and ability to communicate clearly and concisely across departments
- Ability to maintain a safe work environment and follow safety rules, SOPs and GMP guidelines set in place
- Superior standards of sanitation, cleanliness and food safety
- Possess a team-oriented approach to tasks
- Ability to work in a cold environment (2 to 4 degrees Celsius)
- Understand and abide by all safety regulations as well as policies and procedure set forth by Verde Farms
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test
